Submission declined on 1 November 2023 by Robert McClenon (talk). The proposed article does not have sufficient content to require an article of its own, but it could be merged into the existing article at 2023 SAFF Championship. Since anyone can edit Wikipedia, you are welcome to add that information yourself. Thank you. Declined by Robert McClenon 12 months ago. |

- Comment: This is a squad article for a tournament and is better sourced than most I dont understand what the problem is. Check this- 2022 AFF Championship squads most of the squads dont have any sources.FNH004 (talk) 06:25, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Wikipedia articles require independent secondary sources with in depth coverage of the subjects. These are not evident here. Stuartyeates (talk) 02:30, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: I have removed the Instagram and facebook links and have added better sources. FNH004 (talk) 06:31, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: The squads can be included in the article on the championship. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:21, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Instagram and Facebook are unreliable sources, i.e., the draft is not ready for mainspace. Best regards, --Johannes (Talk) (Contribs) (Articles) 15:28, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Hello Johannes Maximilian. I think the article is prepared for the mainspace, but I'm unable to move it there due to a redirect issue, which indicates that the article already exists in the mainspace. My knowledge of redirects is limited, so I would be glad if you help us out here to sort this issue out. Ken Tony Shall we discuss? 14:00, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: More than a year this draft has remained. I see the last comment from months ago here seems with User:Ken Tony agreeing with the article, but unable to move it to the mainspace due to a redirect issue. Having a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:SAFF_Championship_squads, nearly all of the SAFF Championship editions have pages for the squads of the respective teams, many of them with less sources cited then this draft. What is the particular issue with this page. Throwawayjamal047 (talk) 19:47, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
The 2023 SAFF Championship is an international football tournament held in India from 21 June to 4 July 2023. The eight national teams involved in the tournament are required to register a squad of 23 players, including three goalkeepers. Only players in these squads are eligible to take part in the tournament.
The age listed for each player is on 21 June 2023, the first day of the tournament. The numbers of caps and goals listed for each player do not include any matches played after the start of tournament. The club listed is the club for which the player last played a competitive match prior to the tournament.[note 1] The nationality for each club reflects the national association (not the league) to which the club is affiliated. A flag is included for coaches who are of a different nationality than their own national team.
