San Marino faced off against Saint Kitts and Nevis in a series of 2024 association football international friendly matches.[1]
Background
editPrior to the matches, the Sammarinese national team had not won a match in nearly twenty years, and had not drawn a match in 15 months. Their most recent win came against Liechtenstein in 2004.[2] In the buildup to the match, there was much anticipation that one of these two matches could result in a victory for San Marino.[3][1][4]
