- Comment: There needs to be more sources to (1) demonstrate the notablity and (2) general sourcing of points, with history and awards. This seems like a pretty solid article, though. 20i provides reseller hosting along with various tiers of managed hosting, WordPress hosting, eCommerce hosting and virtual private servers.
History
edit20i was established in 2016[2] by entrepreneurs Tim Brealey and Jonathan Brealey following their departure from Heart Internet.
In 2018, 20i released their 20iCloud hosting platform.[3]
2019 20i launches Hostshop; a free WHMCS alternative.
In 2020, 20i deployed their free content delivery network, 20iCDN.
In 2022, i20 open a second data center in Dallas, TX[4], and announce that they had moved to 100% renewable energy sources.[5]
Beginning in 2022, 20i founded the annual FOSS awards,[6] a community voted collection of awards designed to highlight free and open-source software.
In 2023, 20i began offering managed cloud hosting, utilizing AWS and GCP platforms for the first time, alongside their own 20iCloud platform.

In November 2023, PC Pro Magazine named 20i their "Best Web Host".[8]
In August 2023, 20i were nominated in the "Best Hosted Service" category of the 25th Internet Service Providers Association awards.[9]
In Fall 2023, 20i won several accolades in the G2 awards – "Best Support", "Easiest To Do Business With", "Most Implementable", "Easiest to Use",[10] "Best Usability", "Easiest Setup", and "Users Most Likely to Recommend".
In May 2024 TechRadar named 20i the "Best UK web hosting service for reselling".[11]
