AVA Airlines is a privately owned passenger airline based at Tehran Mehrabad Airport. It has 4 aircraft, consisting of 1 Airbus A310, 2 Boeing 737-500's, and one Boeing 737-300. However, some sources say that instead of a Boeing 737-300, there is a McDonnell Douglas MD-83. Not much is known about this airline, as it is believed to have commenced operations very recently in February of 2024. The airline runs daily from Tehran to Istanbul.[1]
