Abdullah Eren (born 1984 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish bureaucrat currently serving as the President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB)[1]. He has held this position since his initial appointment in 2018 and was reappointed to the role in August 2023.
Early Life and Education
Eren graduated from the Sociology Department of Boğaziçi Üniversitesi. He completed her master’s degree in diplomacy at the University of Westminster in London. Abdullah Eren began his career in the private sector, holding various senior management positions before transitioning to public service. He served as the Deputy Chief of Cabinet for the Turkish Prime Minister and later as an advisor to the President of Turkey.
Career
In 2018, Eren was appointed President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB)[2], an organization responsible for maintaining and enhancing Turkey's relations with the Turkish diaspora and related communities globally[3]. His tenure has seen numerous initiatives to strengthen ties with Turkish communities abroad, including educational support, cultural promotion, and political advocacy.
