A.Sudarshan Reddy is a designated senior advocate in the state of Telangana. He is currently appointed as the Advocate General of Telangana.[1][2][3][4][5][6]In this role, he represents the state government in legal matters and provides legal advice on various issues.
Sudarshan Reddy had previously served as the Advocate General of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh from January 17, 2011, to June 3, 2014, during Kiran Kumar Reddy's tenure as the Chief Minister. He continued as the Advocate General for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the President's Rule in 2014.[7][8]
Reddy is a native of Rechapalli village in Karimnagar District of Telangana. Reddy studied at St Paul's School, graduated from Nizam College and got his law degree from Osmania University.
Sudarshan Reddy has enrolled as an advocate in 1985, practicing at district courts and the High Court, specializing in civil and criminal cases. His legal expertise covers a wide range of areas, including constitutional, civil, corporate, arbitration, criminal, and service laws.[9] He taught Criminal Procedure Code and Transfer of Property Act at OG College of Law, Osmania University from 1988 to 1991 working as a part-time lecturer at the Post Graduate College of Law, Osmania University.[9]
