Adari Anandh Kumar is a businessman, politician, and philanthropist from Yelamanchili in the Anakapalli district, which was formerly part of the Visakhapatnam district. He served as the Chairman of Visakha Dairy, the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises Development Corporation (APMSME DC) in former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy government, and the YSRCP Coordinator for the Visakhapatnam West Assembly constituency.

editVisakha Dairy (officially known as Sri Vijaya Visakha Milk Producers Company Ltd.) is renowned for its developmental initiatives benefiting 200,000 dairy farmers and their families. Presently, the dairy collects and processes 8.5 lakh liters of milk daily, generating an annual turnover of ₹1400 crore in the year 2020. He assumed the role of Chairman[1] of Visakha Dairy following the passing of the former Chairman, Adari Tulasi Rao[2]. Upon taking office, he pledged to improve the lives of dairy farmers by providing better cattle breeds, quality cattle feed, and enhanced cattle healthcare. Additionally, he committed to considering health and welfare schemes for dairy farmers and further developing Visakha Dairy to ensure the highest quality milk and dairy products for consumers.
Political Career
editIn March 2023, He was appointed as the Chairman[3] of the Andhra Pradesh Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises Development Corporation (APMSME DC) with the endorsement of Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, recognizing his contributions as the Coordinator[4] of the Visakhapatnam West Assembly Constituency. On this occasion, he emphasized the APMSME DC's role in supporting enthusiastic small and medium entrepreneurs, startups, and its contribution to the growth of the national workforce.
He ran in the 2019 Indian general elections for the Anakapalle Lok Sabha constituency as a Telugu Desam Party contestant but lost to Beesetti Venkata Satyavathi of the YSRCP by a margin of 89,192 votes[5].
He contested as an MLA for 2024 Andhra Pradesh assembly elections from the Visakhapatnam West Assembly constituency on a YSRCP ticket and lost to P.G.V.R. Naidu of Telugu Desam Party by a margin of 35,184 votes[6]
