Adris Albert Davis Jr. (born December 25, 1975) is an American entrepreneur, millionaire, business executive, philanthropist, and author. He currently serves as the CEO of Prestigious Travel Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and the Sales Director at Hilton Grand Vacations, following the acquisition of Diamond Resorts by Hilton in 2021. Prior to the acquisition, Davis held the role of Sales Director at Diamond Resorts. He is also the author of several books on leadership, business, and personal development, and has been active in his career for over 20 years.
Early Life and Career Adris Albert Davis Jr. was born on Christmas Day, 1975, to Adris Albert Davis Sr. and Helen Cobbs Davis. He has three sisters: Ayanna Stinson, Adrian Maria Harris, and Kimberly Somer Davis, and one brother, Michael Wayne Kelly. His first job was at his best friend's father's car lot, 114 Motors, where he began by cleaning and maneuvering cars. He quickly developed a knack for sales, starting to buy and sell cars on his own.
Davis attended ITT Tech, New River Community College, and Radford University.
From the age of 21 to 24, Davis held a (redacted) job with the (redacted), thanks to strong family connections to the military, FBI, and the Department of Defense. From 1998 and for the next 13 years, he worked with 5A Bonds based in Dublin, Virginia, as a Fugitive Recovery Agent, while also working in the resort industry. He says, "I got to be calm and nice during the day and in the evenings I was doing manhunts and kicking in doors." During this time, he trained with various tactical programs, including the former defense contractor Blackwater. Following the death of his former boss at 5A Bonds and increasing health concerns, Davis transitioned from fugitive recovery to focus on his sales career, writing books, mentoring, and growing his company.
In 1997, Davis officially entered the car business, working at Duncan Ford and Mazda. His sales talent was immediately evident, as he won numerous Salesman of the Month awards during his time there. After excelling in the automotive industry, Davis transitioned into real estate and vacation ownership, working at Fairfield Resorts, which eventually merged with Wyndham Resorts. While at Wyndham, he won numerous sales contests, including the prestigious Presidents Club award and multiple trips.
Diamond Resorts and Hilton Grand Vacations Davis became Sales Director at Diamond Resorts, leading high-performing teams and achieving significant results. In 2021, following Apollo Global Management's agreement to sell Diamond Resorts to Hilton Grand Vacations for $1.4 billion, Davis transitioned into a similar role within Hilton, where he continues to thrive as the Sales Director.
Prestigious Travel Club As the founder and CEO of Prestigious Travel Club, Davis leads a non-profit organization that helps military families and underprivileged communities access travel opportunities. The organization also addresses homelessness, provides mentorship to youth, and supports charities such as St. Jude Medical. Prestigious Travel Club also runs a training program for young people, equipping them with sales skills for future careers.
