'Muhammad Ahmad Zafar Chaudhary' (born November 4, 2003) is a Pakistani businessman, landlord, and young politician. He has twice served as a member of the National Youth Assembly. In 9th grade, Ahmad was elected as the City President of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Youth Wing (PYO). He later became the District Nazim of Rahim Yar Khan for Anjuman Talba-e-Islam (ATI), one of Pakistan's prominent student unions. Additionally, Ahmad led his own student union and foundation, NineOne (9-1). He has also held leadership roles in various small to medium-sized political and social organizations, serving as president in 3 to 4 of these groups. Among friends and within his community, he is popularly known by the nickname Sadar Sab (President). In 2024, Ahmad filed nomination papers as an independent candidate for NA-180 but later withdrew from the election.
Early Life and Education
Ahmad Zafar was born on November 4, 2003, in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. His family belongs to the Punjabi-speaking Arain community. His father, Zafar Iqbal, is an upper-middle-class businessman, landlord, and doctor. The family originally settled in the village of Bagh o Bahar, District Rahim Yar Khan, in the early 20th century, while his mother’s side of the family is from Sadiqabad.
After the creation of Pakistan in 1947, Ahmad's parents migrated from Rahim Yar Khan to Lahore. His family owns the Charcharagh Group. Ahmad has three younger brothers: Ashad Ali Zafar, Usama Ali Zafar, and Usman Zafar. He attended Iqra Public High School and graduated from Punjab College University (PUC) with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
During his early years, Ahmad was also a skilled chess player. He remains unmarried and continues to build his career as a politician.
