The National People's Party was a a political party that was created on October 10, 1920 by a group of deputies such as Fan Noli, Ahmet Zogu, Eshref Frashëri, Luigj Gurakuqi,Bajram Curri, etc. The founders of the National People's Party were liberal-democratic intellectuals, with Western culture, education, orientation and orientation. This group formed the democratic opposition in the parliament, which insisted on the implementation of a system of liberal-democratic reforms in all areas of life, to remove the debris of feudalism, to accelerate the pace of development of capitalism, to create the modern state, in which would rule the law and not the law of force, which had about 28 deputies.
