Alessandro Monterosso (born 15 October 1990) is a digital entrepreneur and Angel investor, with a background in the field of digital health.[1][2]
Early Life
editAlessandro Monterosso was born in Scilla, Italy, and raised in Palmi. He currently serves as the Director of Digital Health Solutions at Alira Health and Binance KOL.[3] He has been recognized for his success as a self-made millionaire and has been listed among the 100 most influential people under 30 by Forbes[4] and among the Forbes top 100 managers in Italy.[5][6]
Education and Career
editMonterosso holds a degree in Pediatric Nursing from the University of Padua, where he graduated with honours in 2014. He also holds a degree in Applied Clinical Research from the University of Trieste. In 2017, he left his clinical research career to enroll at the SDA Bocconi Business School, where he earned a Master of International Healthcare, Economics, and Policy.[7][8][9][10][11]
Alessandrois the author of the Italian “Nursing Handbook” published by Zanichelli.[12] and published several scientific articles on peer-reviewed journals.[13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
In 2018, he founded a digital health company,[20] which later went on to become one of the most awarded startups in the industry.[21][22][23][24][25] The company's clients include major pharmaceutical companies. In 2020, Monterosso graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Leadership and Innovation. The company was later acquired by an international consulting firm.[26] Monterosso has been interviewed as a subject matter expert in digital health by various media outlets.[27][28][29][30][31]
