Alex Gámez was born in Barcelona, in 1981.

He has been involved in music since 1995, first as dj, later as artist, sound designer, producer, and mixing and mastering engineer. He founded the Störung platform in 2006, pulled forward ten editions of the Störung Festival, several concerts, a record label, workshops and a radio show. He also founded Störung Studios in 2010. His artistic personal project is Asférico.

From 2006 to 2015, he organized the Störung Festival, an international festival who invited such high-talented artists as Murcof, Moritz Von Oswald, Biosphere, Francisco López, Asmus Tietchens, Scanner, Frank Bretschneider, Fluxion, Angel Molina or Federico Albanese among many others.

He has produced artists as Alina Kalancea or Landry Riba and has been working as sound engineer for others like Murcof, Federico Albanese, Mia Zabelka, John Lemke, Origamibiro, Never Sol, Franz Kirmann, Machinefabriek, SaffronKeira or Fogh Depot and for record labels as The Leaf, Denovali, Important Records, Glacial Movements or Entr’acte among others.

Nowadays, his main activity is focused on Störung Studios and on his personal artistic project Asférico.
