Alex Guadagnini (born October 12, 1996) is a professional rugby union and rugby league player, as well as an occasional fighter in mixed martial arts (MMA) and Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ). Known for his offensive skills and strong tackles, Guadagnini has played in top rugby competitions in Australia and France. His preferred position is inside center.
Early life and education
editGuadagnini was born in Porretta Terme, Italy. He began playing rugby at the age of 17 in local clubs. His early success led to his selection in youth national teams, making him one of the youngest players ever to achieve this. He pursued higher education at Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna, and later attended Deakin University.
Career
editGuadagnini's professional career began with performances in local Italian clubs,[1] which soon garnered attention from international scouts. His move to Australia marked a significant turning point, where he played for teams in Melbourne[2] and Queensland.
In addition to his rugby career, Guadagnini has ventured into MMA and BJJ. He is currently enrolled in some of the most prestigious BJJ and MMA training programs in Europe to further hone his skills in these disciplines.
