Alexander Hamilton Prynkiewicz (born June 5, 1997)[1], better known online as FaZe Adapt, is an American YouTuber, streamer, and member of the esports and entertainment organization FaZe Clan. He produces gaming videos, trick-shot montages, reaction videos, challenges, and lifestyle content. Prynkiewicz is also known for his presence on Twitch, where he streams a mix of gaming “Just Chatting” and IRL broadcasts.
Early life
[edit]Prynkiewicz was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and is one of five children, growing up with four sisters: Milan, Paris, Vienna, and Sydney. He lived in both Arizona and Pennsylvania during his childhood.[2] Prynkiewicz started creating YouTube videos in highschool, choosing to move to NewYork and pursue content creation full-time rather than attend college.
YouTube career
[edit]Prynkiewicz started his YouTube channel on December 13, 2011[3], originally posting Call of Duty trick-shot gameplay and montages. Early in his career, he joined the sniping organization SoaR Gaming,[4] where he gained attention for his editing style and gameplay.
He later joined FaZe Clan in 2013[5], adopting the name FaZe Adapt. His content gradually expanded from gaming to vlogs, pranks, lifestyle challenges, and collaborations with other FaZe members. As of 2025 he has accumulated over five million subscribers on his YouTube channel. [6]
Throughout the late 2010s and early 2020s, Prynkiewicz became known for his daily uploads, high-energy style, and participation in FaZe Clan group content, including FaZe House vlogs and collaborative projects.
Twitch streaming
[edit]Alexander “FaZe Adapt” Prynkiewicz is an active Twitch streamer. He began streaming in mid-2024[7] as part of an effort to quit his nicotine addiction. Following a documentary on his journey[8], Prynkiewicz broadcasted a 7-day marathon livestream to demonstrate his commitment to quitting the addiction.
As of December 2025, he earned over 25 million hours of watch time and surpassed 1.3 million followers on Twitch[9].
During the second FaZe subathon, Prynkiewicz surpassed the 12th most-subscribed Twitch subscribers of all time[10], achieving a peak subscriber count of 140,108[11] that placed him among the top-performing streamers in Twitch history. As part of the event, he pledged to donate 10% of the subscription revenue to support children in Gaza[12], demonstrating his involvement in charitable causes and humanitarian efforts.
Prynkiewicz is recognized for blending lifestyle and entertainment content with gaming, reflecting his role in the evolution of FaZe Clan from an gaming-focused organization to a mainstream content collective. Prynkiewicz Twitch success has earned him nominations at The Streamer Awards 2025, including Best Breakout Streamer and Best Reality Streamer[13], highlighting his influence as an individual creator in the streaming industry.
