Ali Asghar Ashena (born in January 1948 in Hamedan, died in June 1991 in Tehran), was a poet, political activist and political prisoner before the February 11, 1979 Iranian revolution. After serving his prison term, he left Iran due to the possibility of being arrested again for his revolutionary activities and Her revolutionary and critical activities against the tyranny of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's government.
