Andrew Kays
editKon Andrew(1.Jan.1998),better known by the stage name Andrew Kays is a South Sudanese musician, songwriter and producer. Kays sings in Arabic, English and Dinka language.[1]
Early Life and Education
editKon Andrew was born on 1 January 1998 to Abul Bak and Deng Mathiang in Wau South Sudan as the last born of Four Children. Deng Mathiang had Eleven Children and Kon happens to be the last born amongst all. He studied in Kampala Uganda. He went to Uganda Martyrs Primary School, Kings Way Primary School, Kisubi High School, Greenlight High School and Makerere Institute For Social Development.[2]
Musical Career
editKays' music is a mixture of South Sudanese Local music, Uganda Ragga, Zouk and Reggae.[3]
Kays began his music career in 2015 during his secordary school time. He record his first song with Producer Enox at Music Town/ Mtown Records in 2015. He became active as Musician in 2022 after his last semi For diploma at Makerere Institute For Social Development.[4] During his school time he got signed under International Reords owned by South Sudanese Legendary Singer Silver X which he released his selling single Only For Me featuring Cool B in 2019.[5] In 2023 Kays released a hit song Tebia which played on top most radiostations in South Sudan[6][7]

Personal Life
editIn 2021, Andrew moved back to Juba South Sudan to build his music career.[10] In August 2023 He graduated from Makerere Institute For Social Development as an Accountant. [11]
