Andrew M. Niebel (born 1967) is a United States Marine Corps brigadier general who serves as the commanding general of the 1st Marine Logistics Group. He previously commanded Marine Corps Installations East from 2021 to 2023.
Early life and education
editAndrew Niebel was born in Bethesda, Maryland. He graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1989 and was commissioned through the Officer Candidates Course program in 1992.
Military Career
editNiebel served as the commanding officer of the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion through two deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
