About Animal Pentatonix is an a cappella group founded in 2019, known for their unique approach to music, which exclusively features vocal harmonies and beatboxing without any instrumental accompaniment. Drawing inspiration from the popular cappella group Pentatonix, Animal Pentatonix focuses on producing intricate vocal performances, specializing in covers and original compositions.
History Animal Pentatonix began in 2019, initially performing in local circles and honing their vocal skills. The group officially launched their YouTube channel in 2023, where they began sharing their a cappella performances with a wider audience. Their music style mimics Pentatonix but features only vocal arrangements and beatboxing, deliberately avoiding the use of any instruments.
Members The band consists of five core members, each bringing a unique vocal range and style to the group:
Max (Baritone) Zoey (Mezzo-Soprano/Soprano) Chase (Tenor/Countertenor) Older Chase (Bass) Horseys (Beatboxer)
Style Animal Pentatonix's performances are entirely vocal-based, with a heavy emphasis on beatboxing provided by Horseys. The band’s arrangements often feature complex harmonies and mimic instrumental sounds using only their voices, creating a distinct sound that closely resembles their inspiration, Pentatonix, but with their own creative twist.
