Early life and Education

Anjali Kumari Jha was born on 30th September, 1997 in Darbhanga, Bihar. Her schooling was completed from Darbhanga, Bihar. She completed her 10th from Woodbine Modern School, Darbhanga. After that she completed her intermediate from C.M. Science College, Darbhanga, Bihar. She has completed her graduation in Horticulture from Nalanda College of Horticulture, Noorsarai, Nalanda under Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur. After graduation, she has completed her M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture Vegetable Science from Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour, Bhagalpur..[1] and PGDAEM from MANAGE, Hyderabad[2]. Currently, she is pursuing Ph.D. in Vegetable Science from Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Coochbehar, West Bengal[3]

Writing Career

After writing as a blogger on several platforms since 2018, she started participating in different anthology published by different national and international publications. For her writing she won several prizes and awards at national and international level. In the year 2020, she published her first novel “Ek Pyaar Aisa Bhi”[4]. After her first book, later she published three poetry books and one mythological fiction – Videh Nandini Vaidehi in the year 2022[5]. She has also edited 47 anthologies and working as a designer.

Scientific career

Anjali Kumari Jha is a distinguished researcher in the field of horticulture with a focus on vegetable science. She has worked on faba bean improvement during her M.Sc. research. In 2023, she qualified the ASRB NET, further establishing her expertise in the field. Throughout her academic career, Anjali has made significant contributions to the field of horticulture, with thirteen book chapters, two research papers, two review papers and eight popular articles to her credit. Her participation in numerous training programs, seminars, and conferences further underscores her commitment to advancing knowledge in agricultural sciences, particularly in horticulture and vegetable science. Recently, she has published a published a book titled Faba Bean: A Potential Crop for Climate Resilient Agriculture[10]
