In 2013, Anmol's short film Maya was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, garnering a positive reception from audiences.[3][4]

On 12 January 2015, Anmol joined filmmaker Akash Chopra in documenting Sri M's extraordinary journey across India on foot, known as The Walk of Hope.[5] The 15-month journey spanned 7,500 kilometers, beginning in Kanyakumari and concluding in Srinagar, advocating for peace and unity.[5][6][7] The documentary, Walking With M, gained international recognition, screening in 8 European countries at various community film festivals. It won several awards, including Best Documentary at Film Fest International (Berlin FFI) and the Global Peace Award at The International Film Festival The Hague, and received nominations for Best Director, Historical Interest Award, and Best Editing of a Documentary.[8]

In 2019, Anmol Karnik produced a short documentary on the life of a farmer in rural Maharashtra. The film garnered recognition from Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, India’s second-largest tractor manufacturer, resulting in funding awards for both the farmer and Anmol.[9]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Anmol hosted the Currious List Podcast, which spanned over 40 episodes and featured prominent guests such as Zoya Akhtar, Meghna Gulzar, Abhishek Chaubey, Shakun Batra, Sooni Taraporevala, and Ravi K. Chandran, among others.[10]
