Anniqa Jamal Iqbal is a Pakistani beauty queen who was crowned Miss Pakistan World 2022. She has represented Pakistan in major pageants and won several titles for the country.
Personal Life
editAnniqa was born in Denmark, and completed her Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark. She is pursuing a Master of Science in Business Economics and Auditing. With two sisters and her entire family residing in Denmark, she maintains a strong connection to her roots, with extended family in Pakistan.[1]
Pageantry
editMiss Pakistan World
editAnniqa's international journey in the pageant world began when she was crowned Miss Pakistan World[2] 2022 on September 15, 2022. This was a big moment for her as the 18th winner of the title.[citation needed]
International Pageants
editAt just 21 years old, she went on to compete internationally at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines as Miss Earth Pakistan 2022, where she promoted environmental awareness with the theme "ME Loves Fauna," even though the pandemic made things difficult.[citation needed]
Anniqa competed in Miss Eco International 2023 in Egypt.[3]
Anniqa took part in Freedom of the World 2023 pageant in Kosovo, where Pakistan competed for the first time. She won several titles, including Miss Photogenic, Miss Press, and Fourth Runner Up. Anniqa Jamal Iqbal became the first[4] Miss Pakistan World to win three titles in one international pageant.
After participating in three international pageants, Anniqa is now representing Pakistan in Miss Cosmo 2024.She is the first representative from Pakistan.[citation needed]
