Antón Castillo is a fictional character from Ubisoft's Far Cry video game franchise. He first appears as the central antagonist of the 2021 title, Far Cry 6, and was extensively featured in promotional material for the game. In Far Cry 6, Castillo is the tyrannical leader, or "El Presidente", of the tropical island of Yara, located in the Caribbean. The character has made a further appearance in a five-part audio drama, Far Cry: Rise of the Revolution.

editEsposito reprised his role as Castillo in Far Cry: Rise of the Revolution, a five-part audio drama released on February 22, 2023, on Audible. Written by Alexandro Aldrete, Rise of the Revolution serves as a prequel to Far Cry 6, detailing Castillo's childhood and rise to power.[1]

At The Game Awards 2021, Giancarlo Esposito was nominated for Best Performance for his portrayal of Castillo.[2] The following year, Esposito was nominated for Best Acting in a Game at the New York Game Awards 2022, for his portrayal of the character.[3]
Mason Teague from Screen Rant described Castillo as a "memorable villain", who, despite only appearing occasionally in-person within the game, "commands the screen every time". Teague also praised Castillo and his son's complex relationship, explaining that it gives the character "another significant layer".[4]
