Anthony Schaller is the founder/director of Schaller Gallery, representing internationally known ceramic artists and considered one of the top functional ceramics galleries in the nation. Located in Baroda, Michigan, Schaller Gallery hosts four exhibitions per month and operates primarily through online sales. Anthony Schaller maintains a studio practice focused on functional ceramics with an emphasis on locally sourced natural and experimental materials. His personal work showcases a love for edge, line, and heavy process with aesthetic values rooted in historical Japanese and British ceramics. Anthony established the Red Lodge Clay Center in Red Lodge, Montana, has worked as a curator, professor and continues to present exhibitions, workshops, lectures, critiques and discussions at Universities and Art Centers across the United States. He is currently developing a plan to implement a professional development program to help others achieve their goals in the arts.
