editOn April 5th, 2024, a 4.8 Magnitude Earthquake had occured in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Additionally, a 3.8 Magnitude Earthquake occured the same day. During the 4.8 Magnitude Earthquake or after, a WEA Alert was issued for NY residents to stay indoors and call 9-1-1 if injured. An All Clear WEA was issued mentioning potential for aftershocks, which can act like secondary earthquakes happening minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, even years after the actual earthquake occured. The earthquake was felt over multiple states of the Mid Altantic/Northeast Coast. (If anyone wants to add to this, please do so.)
