Armen Melikbekyan (born May 10, 1980) is the current president of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA). He has been active in football administration since the early 2000s and was elected president of the FFA in 2019, with a re-election in 2023.

Early Life and Education

Armen Melikbekyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1980. He graduated from Yerevan State University after Valery Brusov with a degree in foreign languages and literature. After graduating, he worked briefly as a lecturer at the same university.

Journalism Career

Melikbekyan began his career as a sports journalist, founding several Armenian sports websites and contributing to various media outlets. His journalism focused on the development of Armenian football.

Football Administration Career

Melikbekyan joined the Football Federation of Armenia in the early 2000s. He held multiple positions, including Deputy Director of the Federation. He also served as a member of several UEFA committees.
