Awami Falahi Party (Urdu: عوامی فلاحی پارٹی) is an Independent political party based in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, founded in January 2022 by Sheraz Altaf. The current chairman of the party is Sheraz Altaf. The party's platform is democratic which involves supporting free markets, deregulation, lower taxes, and private ownership.
The motto of the party is “A prosperous Pakistan for all, not for few”. The party is under expansion and the formation of the cabinet is in its early stages.
Origin and manifesto
editAwami Falahi Party originated based on three main motives which include Economy, Education, and Reforms. According to its manifesto, the party is based on serving the people, supporting democratic principles, and ensuring the development of the country. Its core principles include the establishment of justice, social equality, and the protection of human rights.
Elections
editThe party took part in the 2024 general election. In the elections, the chairman of the AFP contested for Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from PP-163 Lahore-XIX.
