Badfish Creek Wildlife Area is a 1,147-acre (4.64 km2) tract of protected land located in Dane County, Wisconsin owned and managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR).[1] The wildlife area was established to preserve the unique marsh landscape and further protect native vegetation in the region.[1] Badfish Creek is also a popular spot for birders, with 102 bird species reportedly spotted.[2]: 20
