Tom Bartleet is a British politician who is a candidate for the 2024 United Kingdom general election for the Liberal Democrats in South Suffolk (UK Parliament constituency)[1] which is currently represented by James Cartlidge of the Conservative Party (UK).[2]
Tom Bartleet was previously a Broker and CEO of Bartleet Insurance and Erskine Murray Insurance Brokers before stepping into politics.[3]
During the 2024 United Kingdom general election, Tom has had a successful campaign with many signs and posters dotted around South Suffolk.[4]
Tom Bartleet has a Liberal Democrats Campaign HQ in Sudbury, the largest town in South Suffolk on Gainsborough Street.[5]
Career
editTom Bartleet, before stepping in to politics, was a broker and CEO of Bartleet Insurance for one year from May 2011 to May 2012, and owner and CEO of Leicester based, Erskine Murray Insurance Brokers for over 10 years, from May 2012 to October 2022.[6]
In May 2024, it was announced that Tom Bartleet would be standing for South Suffolk in the 2024 United Kingdom general election for the Liberal Democrats[7]
Bartleet ended his successful campaign on the Tuesday 2nd of July 2024 after having many signs and posters dotted around South Suffolk.[8]
