The Battle of Opljaz (Albanian: Beteja e Oplazës; Serbian: Битка на Опљажу, Bitka na Opljazu) was fought on August 9, 1998, on the outskirts of the village of Opljaz near Gjakova. The engagement took place between the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and Yugoslav security forces.

On August 9, 1998, the 138th Brigade of the KLA, led by Agim Ramadani, launched an attack on the village of Opljaz. In the ensuing battle, 17 to 20 Yugoslav soldiers were killed, including 2 army officers.
