editBaybo was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. During his high school years, he played basketball, but he has mentioned in interviews that he only played for a "Y" team, not for a serious or high school team.[1] His time as an athlete helped him develop discipline and a competitive mindset, which later influenced his approach to music.
