Pribula was a 4-star recruit by On3 and ESPN, and was a 3-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals.com.[1][2][3][4] He was a 3 year captain in high school and led his team to 11-1, 10-1, and 9-2 records.[5] Pribula didn't get many offers, and committed to Penn State on August 3rd, 2020, over offers from Nebraska, Rutgers, and more.[6]
College
editIn college, Pribula redshirted his first season in 2022. In 2023, he was the back-up to Drew Allar, and played some time at the end of some games. He got his first rushing touchdown against West Virginia on September 2nd, and his first passing touchdown against Delaware a week later.[7] He was the leading rusher for Penn State against Rutgers with 71 yards on 8 carries and 1 touchdown, after Allar went down with an injury.[8] In the Peach Bowl against Ole Miss, he had a 48 yard touchdown pass, on his only throwing attempt, in the 38-25 loss. He ended the season with 10 total touchdowns.
He started his 2024 season with a 19 yard touchdown to Tyler Warren in a 34-12 win against West Virginia.[9] In Week 9, Allar went down with an injury against Wisconsin right before the half. Pribula was able to come in and lead Penn State to a 28-13 victory. He went 11/13, threw for 98 yards, and got a touchdown.[10]
