Bedrock is an upcoming American adult animation comedy series based on the animated sitcom The Flintstones. The series will star Elizabeth Banks, and premiere on Fox.

editIn July 2019, it was announced that an animated adult comedy reboot of the Hanna-Barbera animated sitcom The Flintstones, was in development at Warner Bros. Animation, with Elizabeth Banks to executive produce the series.[1][2]
In April 2021, it was announced that the series was in development at Fox Entertainment and that the series would also be broadcast on Fox.[3][4] It was also announced that the series would be written by Lindsay Kerns, and that Banks would be starring in the series.[5] In March 2023, the series was given a pilot presentation by Fox Entertainment.[6]
The series will be executive produced by Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman through Brownstone Productions. Production companies for the series include Brownstone Productions, Warner Bros. Animation, and Fox Entertainment.[3]
Casting
editAlongside the series development announcement, it was confirmed that Banks would star as Pebbles Flintstone.[5] In March 2023, it was announced that Stephen Root would be joining the series as Fred Flintstone, Amy Sedaris as Wilma Flintstone, Nicole Byer as Betty Rubble, Joe Lo Truglio as Barney Rubble, and Manny Jacinto as Bamm-Bamm Rubble.[6]
