Been Like This is an upcoming song by American singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor it features vocals by American rapper & R&B singer T-Pain. it scheduled for release on 14th March 2024, via Epic.
Background
editSince the start of her career in 2014, Trainor has mentioned in interviews that her dream musical collaboration would be with T-Pain. She expressed that during her time in college and high school, she frequently listened to the rapper's music.
In a December 2023 episode of her "Workin' on it" Podcast, Trainor revealed that for her 30th birthday, her label (Epic) surprised her with T-Pain.[1] In an early January 2024 episode, Trainor revealed that she had been texting with the rapper and stated, "And someday we will make the best song ever together."
After all UMG's artists' music was pulled off the platform TikTok in late January 2024, and after her song Me Too (2016) was going viral on the app, Trainor started to tease an upcoming project.[2] following 2 days late on February 22 trainor teased the opening verse of the song the song[3]
