Purpose of the Ministry:

Bethania Gospel Ministry has been instituted on a Divine revelation in order to serve people who are injured in their heart and inner-self. The ministry is also involved in saving those who are caught by suicidal thoughts.

History:

After completing his bachelor degree in theology from Gilgal Biblical Seminary, Sharjah, UAE, Pr. Anson Maramon hailing from Central Travancore of Kerala State, India, who was currently living in Abu Dhabi, UAE desired to start a prayer ministry to teach the Holy Bible and pray for public needs. Keeping this desire in his mind, in December 2017, he went on a 3 days fasting prayer. On 07 Feb 2018, Wednesday, while pastor Anson was in his office, Jesus spoke to him audibly. Anson heard a voice " Anson, you have to start a ministry called Bethania Gospel Ministry, a ministry to serve those who are wounded in their hearts. Pastor Anson had another name "Berakha Gospel Ministry" in his mind. Hence, he requested Jesus to change the name. Then, the voice spoke to Anson "Open Mark 11 and read". As Anson read Mark 11, he was confident to start the ministry with the name "Bethania Gospel Ministry".

In the evening, Pastor Anson visited his church pastor and informed him about hearing the voice of God to start a ministry. But, the church pastor was reluctant to permit Anson to start a ministry. But, on the next day, Thursday, during evening church meeting, a stranger visiting Pastor came to attend the meeting. As the church pastor gave him time, the visiting pastor stood up and asked the congregation to open Mark 11 and he began to preach the church about the name "Bethania".

On Friday, 09 Feb 2024 morning, Pastor Anson Maramon, along with his family and another pastor Pr. Jacob Philip and family, an ordained pastor of the Assemblies of God Church prayed together and dedicated the ministry "Bethania Gospel Ministry".

Now, the ministry head office has been transferred to Pullad, Kerala in the newly built prayer hall in pastor Anson's own house building.
