Bibliotheca is a multinational library technology company headquartered in Oakdale, Minnesota, United States. It was formed in 2011 when three independent companies—Bibliotheca (Switzerland), Intellident (United Kingdom), and Integrated Technology Group, ITG (North America)—merged to create a single entity. In 2012, the group acquired Trion AG, a European provider of Automated Material Handling (AMH) solutions.[1]

In 2015, Bibliotheca purchased 3M's Library Systems business and acquired the assets of its remaining global business.[2] The group serves 30,000 libraries globally.[3][non-primary source needed]

Bibliotheca is financially backed by One Equity Partners, a division of JP Morgan Chase & Co. The group focuses on the development, deployment, and support of RFID-based solutions, with a particular focus on public and private libraries, as well as academic library markets.[4]
