Emmanuel Burgio launched Blue Parallel with one destination in 2003: Machu Picchu in Peru. The company has expanded its footprint step by step and now operates in about 24 different countries.

History
editEmmanuel Burgio founded Blue Parallel in 2003.
After a year-long sabbatical from his career in investment banking in New York City, Emmanuel decided he wanted to share his passion for adventure and discovery with the world. He created Blue Parallel shortly after, initially offering exclusive long weekend escapes from New York to Machu Picchu. As time went on, he gradually expanded the company and added 23 new countries across Latin America, the Mediterranean and the Polar regions to Blue Parallel's portfolio.[1]
As part of Blue Parallel's expansion, they worked on a multi-year project with world-renowned National Geographic photographer Bobby Haas. Blue Parallel planned the logistics for the photographer's aerial photographic book of Latin America: Through the Eyes of the Condor.
Today, Blue Parallel has an international team of travel experts who have a track record in delivering highly personalized services to our very discerning travelers.
