To achieve a Second Tier Elemental Form BoBoiBoy must get all the First Tier Elemental Forms available on his Power Band. If a Second Tier Elemental Form he forcibly transformed, it can destroy BoBoiBoy's Power Band.

In the Original Series, Lightning evolved into Thunderstorm after being "tortured" due to balloons being popped by Adudu. He forcibly forced Thunderstorm due to stress and fear and his globophobia to free himself from the "torture".
In BoBoiBoy Galaxy, BoBoiBoy forced a direct transformation to Thunderstorm to save his friends from being crushed by Jugglenaut. However, since BoBoiBoy didn't get all the First Tier Forms, The form was unstable.

Personality: Ice's personality is similar to BoBoiBoy Water's personalities, but Ice is less lazy and can focus on tasks.

Thorn is the evolved form of BoBoiBoy Leaf. Thorn was achieved using Ochobot's last powers. Even though BoBoiBoy did not have Leaf as a base element, he was still able to use Thorn to help defeat Bora Ra.

Personality: Thorn's personality is similar to Leaf's, but Thorn is more serious when it comes to fighting and is not seen getting distracted like Leaf has.

BoBoiBoy Solar[33]
Solar is the evolved form of BoBoiBoy Light. Light evolved into Solar using Ochobot's last powers in BoBoiBoy: The Movie. Even though BoBoiBoy did not have Light as a base form, he was still able to use Solar to finish Bora Ra.
In BoBoiBoy Galaxy, After BoBoiBoy and he's friends lose against Captain Vargoba, Captain Vargoba flung BoBoiboy into space by hitting him out of the T.AP.O.P.S. station. He started to freeze until BoBoiBoy's body gets near the sun, The sun flashes BoBoiBoy letting him achieve Solar. He returns back to the station in his new form and defeats Captain Vargoba using a powerful beam of light.
