Bradford County Telegraph is a weekly newspaper serving Bradford County, Florida.
History
editThe newspaper was first published as The Florida Telegraph in 1879 by William Wyatt Moore.
In the following decade the publication changed its name several times alternating between Florida Telegraph, Weekly Florida Telegraph, and Starke Telegraph. Finally in 1887 the newspaper was sold to I.C Webb who renamed it the final time to the Bradford County Telegraph
In 1893 the newspaper was sold to Eugene S. Matthews, a four time state congressman.[4]
The newspaper is still published to this day[when?] with a circulation of 5,250 and it covers local news in the Bradford County area.
