Sabrina Zehetbauer (born in Vienna, Austria), professionally known as Brini (stylized as /Z), is an Austrian pop and R&B singer, songwriter, dance artist, choreographer, and entrepreneur. She released her debut single "Meant to Be" in 2020 and has since released several music projects, including "The Way I Move" (2026). She is also the co-founder of Vienna Heels, an Austrian dance initiative, and has received coverage from multiple international music publications.
Early life and education
[edit]Brini was born in Vienna, Austria. She began singing and dancing at the age of four. Between the ages of eight and ten, she studied keyboard and piano. By thirteen, she was leading dance groups for school productions and formal events.
At sixteen, she secured her first commercial performance job for the Austrian television channel Puls 4. In 2016, she performed as a dancer for Austrian singer Vincent Bueno during his Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection performance.
In 2018, Brini studied performing arts at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City on scholarship.
After returning to Austria, she co-founded Vienna Heels in 2019. In 2022, Vienna Heels collaborated with Kunstforum Wien during a Helmut Newton exhibition and released a short dance film titled "5 Elements," which won a British Movement Award.[1]
She completed a Bachelor's degree in Transcultural Communication from the University of Vienna and, in 2025, a hybrid MBA in Leadership in Fashion from ESDEN Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Music career
[edit]Brini released her debut single "Meant to Be" in 2020. That same year, she appeared on Vincent Bueno's album On the Run, performing on the track "Snatch Like a Wolf."
In 2021, she released "Hold U (Lost U)," which was later re-released in 2023 alongside a sped-up version. In 2024, she released "365," accompanied by multiple remixes.
"The Way I Move" (2026)
[edit]In 2026, Brini released the single "The Way I Move," which generated coverage from multiple international music publications. EARMILK described her as "confident and soulful on her lush new single."[2]
WORDPLAY Magazine, which covers hip hop and culture from the UK, published a news feature on the single in June 2026.[3]
SoundVille noted that the song features a "sunny and airy vibe, blending light amapiano and pop influences with a groovy R&B feel."[4]
Mystic Sons published a feature-length interview titled "Getting To Know... Brini."[5]
The single spawned a remix collaboration with artist Timna Turner. Promonewstv covered the "Thnk Pnk Rmx" version in July 2026.[6]
LOCK Magazine, described as "An Advocate For Women In Music," published a Q&A interview in June 2026 and a news feature in July 2026 examining how "BRINI Turns Movement Into Power With 'The Way We Move (THNK PNK Remix).'"[7][8]
Backseat Mafia published an article in July 2026 titled "Vienna's BRINI Returns with Empowering New Single 'The Way I Move.'"[9]
IhouseU.com featured the track in a news article, noting that Brini "returns with 'The Way I Move,' a sun-soaked blend of amapiano, pop and R&B that captures the connection between music, movement and self-expression."[10]
The Sounds Wont Stop reviewed the track positively, describing it as "a danceable and smooth new single" that "brings together elements of color and edginess in a way that feels completely seamless and natural."[11]

Other work
[edit]Brini co-founded Vienna Heels, an initiative focused on dance and confidence-building. She has worked as a choreographer and dancer in film and theater productions across Austria. She has also completed professional training in makeup artistry and fashion styling.
