Broward Motorsports is a an American based powersports dealership group and service center headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Established in 2002, the company has become a prominent destination for motorsports enthusiasts in the region by offering a comprehensive range of powersports products and services. Broward Motorsports is the largest powersports retailer in Florida employing over 200 staff members across 6 locations from Miami to the Treasure coast.[1]
History
editBroward Motorsports was acquired in 2002 by BMS Partners compromised of Sam Nehme, Marc Osheroff and Dale Katz. The first dealership was located at 4101 Davie road extension in Hollywood Florida. At the time Broward Motorsports was a franchise dealer consisting of Polaris, SeaDoo, Yamaha and Suzuki. Shortly after the purchase BMS partners acquired Pines Kawasaki and merged the dealer into the Broward Motorsports Hollywood location. In 2007 BMS partners acquired Greater Yamaha locations in West Palm Beach and Tequesta. Both locations were re-branded as Broward Motorsports of Palm Beach and Broward Motorsports of Jupiter. In 2010 Bms Partners acquired Powersports of Fort Lauderdale rebranding the location to Broward Motorsports of Fort Lauderdale.[2] In 2018 a retail location in Hobe Sound, FL was acquired and branded as Broward Motorsports of Treasure Coast. In 2023 Broward Motorsports acquired Florida Sports Cycle and ATV in order to merge and expand the available brands at the Treasure Coast location. Also in 2023 Broward Motorsports acquired the former Palmetto Motorsports in Hialeah, FL and rebranded it as Broward Motorsports of Miami.[3]
