History

edit

On 27 June 2015, they achieved promotion to the Third Division after the promotion of Pontevedra CF to the Second Division B. Noia won the play-off between the third-placed teams in the Preferente Autonómica, leaving a free place in the category with the promotion of the Pontevedra club.

That same year, with Yago Iglesias as coach, they were unable to maintain their category and returned to Preferente after obtaining a 19th place. With the departure of the coach from Ribeirà to Sociedad Deportiva Compostela (2004), the Noia team decided to have Luís Bonilla at the helm of the team. After an impeccable season, the Noia team won the Preferente Norte title on April 30, 2017, as well as direct promotion to the Third Division with four games left in the competition.

After obtaining first place, Noia faced Club Deportivo Cultural Areas in the champions' final for the absolute Preferente title. The match, which took place at the O Vao pitch, ended with a 2–0 victory for the Ponteareas team.

In 2024, team achieved promotion in Tercera Federación for the first time.[1]
