Commander, Naval Surface Group Middle Atlantic
editCommander, Naval Surface Group Middle Atlantic (CNSG-ML) is the Executive Agent for Commander Naval Surface Forces Atlantic (CNSL) for force generation with a focus on manning, training and equipping non-nuclear surface ships to provide the operational and component commanders with combat ready surface forces capable of conducting prompt and sustained naval, joint and combined operations in support of U.S. national interests.[1]
CNSG Mid-Atlantic was formed in late 2023 when Amphibious Squadron 6 (COMPHIBRON 6) and DESRON 26 were merged together to form CNSG-ML.
