Calamity Hustle is an upcoming American action comedy film written, directed, and co-produced by Aaron and Adam Nee. It stars Ryan Reynolds and Channing Tatum, who also serve as producers.
Premise
editSet around Christmas, two estranged brothers, a police officer (Reynolds) and a low level criminal (Tatum), grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, and went in the opposite direction. When the criminal is implicated as part of a diamond heist, the cop must hunt him down before those he ripped off.[1]

editIn December 2023, it was announced that an action comedy film starring Ryan Reynolds and Channing Tatum was in development, with Aaron and Adam Nee directing from their own screenplay. It was reported that Warner Bros. Pictures, Amazon MGM Studios, and Netflix were in the midst of acquiring the rights to distribute the film, with Netflix eventually dropping out of the bidding.[2] Later that month, Warner Bros. acquired the distribution rights.[1]
