Chai Wan Gap (Chinese: 柴灣坳) is a gap in Eastern District, Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. The gap is located between Tai Tam and Sai Wan Shan.[1] The Chai Wan Road is located there connecting Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan and Tai Tam Road begins here. Despite it's name, much of the gap is located within Shau Kei Wan instead of Chai Wan.
Before the construction of the Island Eastern Corridor, it was the main passage way connecting Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan.
