Codacy is a Portuguese software company based in Lisbon that develops a cloud-based platform for automated code review and static code analysis. The company was founded in 2012 by Jaime Jorge and João Caxaria.[1]

In November 2014, Codacy won the "Beta" category of the startup pitch competition at the Web Summit in Dublin, chosen from a field the organizers reported at more than 1,500 entries.[2][3]
Codacy subsequently raised a $5.1 million Series A round led by EQT Ventures in 2017,[1] and a $15 million Series B round led by Bright Pixel Capital in September 2022.[4]
Platform
[edit]Codacy's platform integrates with Git-based repository hosting services and analyzes source code for issues relating to code quality, security, and test coverage.[4]
