Concordium is a public, and a proof-of-stake blockchain platform.^[1] Launched in June 2018, it aims to provide a balance between privacy and regulatory compliance.^[2]

History

Concordium was founded in 2018 by Lars Seier Christensen,^[3] the former CEO of Saxo Bank. The Test net was launched in 2020, followed by the Mainnet launch in June 2021. Same year, ARK36 invested in Concordium.^[4]
