Coon Town Suffragettes is a 1914 Sigmund Lubin film. Written by Arthur D. Hotaling it starred John Edwards and Mattie Edwards.[1] According to a brochure for the film, it is about a "colored wash lady" who attenda a white women's suffrage meeting and then organizes her "own people" leading to their raiding a gin mill.[2]
