Draft:Cursed Tanmk Simulator

Cursed Tanmk Simulator is a free-to-play vehicular combat multiplayer video game available on Roblox, developed by the "Tanmk" group of 14 developers. Currently, as of April 4, 2021, it was remastered from an earlier version released on March 7, 2020. This game tends to focus on customizable armored warfare in allowing players to build and operate tanks from a wide range of historical, modern, futuristic, and prototype models.

Gameplay

edit

Cursed Tanmk Simulator features a unique customization system that allows players to create their vehicles with a wide range of freedom. The hull, turret, and gun can be independently chosen from one another from Tier-1 up to Tier-12. This modular system unlocks a series of interesting creative combinations: players might marry a Soviet T-72 hull with an American M1 Abrams turret and a German 120mm L/44 cannon to craft a rather unusual hybrid creation. This will also allow flexibility in supporting a wide range of combinations of vehicles so that players can experiment and find the right fit for their play style.

Modifications to the vehicles are free for whatever combat role the players seem fit: heavy, armored configurations offer durability and are suited for front-line engagements, while lighter, more agile builds with powerful cannons are optimal for high-mobility tactics such as flanking or hit-and-run maneuvers. Besides, players can select their roles like Main Battle Tank or Infantry Fighting Vehicle and tune their vehicle's function within the team dynamic.

Cursed Tank Simulator boasts military technologies from the United States, Britain, China, Italy, the Soviet Union/Russia, Japan, Israel, France, and Brazil. Each country's technology is imbued with unique characteristics, making the tactical repertoire wider for gaming. From World War II-era vehicles to conceptual prototypes, the huge collection in this game answers the needs of both historical accuracy enthusiasts and those who enjoy highly creative and fictional ideas.

Joe's Shack / Blueprints

edit

Cursed Tanmk Simulator contains two in-game shops (ranging from Tier-1 up to Tier-12) where players can purchase modules to customize a vehicle. First, there is Joe's Shack, which contains many common modules that are rather easy to acquire and generally good building blocks when putting a vehicle together. For those wanting better or specialty modules, the Blueprint Store offers upgraded variants of many of the modules found within Joe's Shack, as well as components that are found nowhere else. This is a dual-shop system whereby the player can begin with simple modules and then progress to the more specialized upgrades of vehicles as he advances through the game.

Materials / Crafting

edit

Players gather a lot of materials from crates to craft advanced modules from the Blueprint Store. Most materials are derived from crates at the end of battles. Materials come in different types and rarities; basic ones like iron, steel, aluminum, copper, carbon fiber, and a stabilizer are more easily crafted.

However, some of specialized materials are only directly accessible via crates and not through crafting. This would include iron ore, copper ore, camera modules, laser modules, radar modules, and IR camera modules. This system of material collection and crafting adds a layer of strategic progression, enabling players to unlock and build increasingly sophisticated modules for their vehicles through continuous battles and resource accumulation.

Crates

edit

In Cursed Tank Simulator, crate rarities come in six forms: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical. Players are rewarded with a type of crate that depends on the tier of which they played; the higher the tier, the higher the awarded level of crate. Not only will higher tiers have more materials but also higher-tier crates include rarer materials needed to make advanced modules.

Additionally, each crate has a small chance to drop one Ultra Rare item, something like a particular vehicle. The special drop chance is only 0.1 percent, . Thus, the crate system would enhance the anticipation and reward that can be felt by players, as valued or rare items can be obtained as their tiers go higher.
