Cybage Software is a technology consulting and professional services company headquartered in Pune, India. Established in 1995 by Arun Nathani as Cyberage, it is mainly focused in outsourced product engineering and IT consulting services. It serves more than 250 clients across various industries which includes media, software, travel, retail, healthcare, life sciences, logistics, and fintech.[1]
History
[edit]Cybage was founded in 1995 in Pune, India, by Arun Nathani as Cyberage.[2] It began its initial operation with a team of four employees.[3] Although the business's initial product calls CyberAge Raiderwas favorably welcomed, it eventually lost its financial viability when a well-known software company started providing a rival product at no cost.[4] In 1996, the company pivoted its business model to offshore software development services and implemented the Offshore Development Center (ODC) model.[5] During the era of peak dotcom growth from 1996 to 2002, Cyberage witnessed its growth.[6] It also changed its name to Cybage in 2000. In 2005, Cybage began its operations at the Cybage Towers, near Cerebrum IT Park, in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. In 2013 it became a SAP Partner Edge Application Development Program partner.[7] As of 2025, the company has been operating in 15 countries, including North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.[8] In February 2026, Cybage was among the list of 10 most profitable unlisted companies in India.[9]
