Magnus Hoamachim Achor (born 2 June 2000), professionally known as Daddi Cool, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is recognized for his contributions to the Afropop, Afrotrapsoul, and R&B genres.
Early Life and Career
editDaddi Cool hails from Atali in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He began his music career in 2017, quickly gaining recognition as a promising young artist. Despite not being signed to a record label, Daddi Cool established a strong presence in Port Harcourt, especially in neighborhoods like Atali, Eneka, Rumurushi, and Rumudara. His performances and dedication to his craft earned him a loyal following in these areas.
In 2019, Daddi Cool released his debut EP, One Man's War, which featured four tracks. His career took off in 2020 with the release of his first professional single, "Yahwa," which featured collaborations with KendiWizzy and Oliver Jazzy Bi (formerly known as Kod). The track was mixed and mastered by LiquidTunes and marked a significant milestone in his career.[1][2][3]
Since his breakthrough, Daddi Cool has consistently released new music, building a reputation for delivering hits and maintaining a strong work ethic.
